Client Services Manager

As a Client Services Manager at Sovereign, you're not just managing accounts — you're building relationships that last, leading teams that deliver, and making sure every single client feels like they're our only one. You're the face of the operation and the backbone behind the scenes.

You'll own a regional territory spanning 40-50 miles between accounts, oversee service quality across multiple sites, conduct walkthroughs that actually mean something, and make sure your teams have everything they need to show up and show out every day. When a client calls, you're already on it. That's just how you operate.

This role is for the natural leaders — the ones who can juggle a dozen priorities without dropping a single ball, who take pride in a job well done, and who genuinely love the rush of keeping everything running like clockwork.

What you'll do day-to-day:

- Supervise up to 20 offsite cleaning associates across multiple Pennsylvania client sites

- Conduct site walkthroughs, customer check-ins, and quality inspections

- Schedule staff coverage, including last-minute fills and short-notice changes

- Apply progressive discipline and counsel staff per company policy

- Coordinate inventory, safety training, and security clearances

- Be the first call when a client has a question or an issue

- Train, mentor, and work side-by-side with cleaning staff when it's time to roll up your sleeves

What we're looking for:

- 2-3 years CURRENT management experience in housekeeping, facility cleaning, floor care, or janitorial services — must be active in the field today

- Direct supervision of 10-15+ team members in your most recent role

- Strong organizational skills, fast judgment under pressure, and flexibility with shifting priorities

- Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable in customer-facing situations

- Computer literacy (email, scheduling tools, basic reporting)

- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and obtain client-site security clearances

The practicals:

- Travel: This is a road-based role. You'll cover a 40-50 mile Pennsylvania territory and respond on-site to client calls. Driving between client sites is an essential function of the position; a valid driver's license is required. Company vehicle, gas card, cell phone, and iPad provided.

- Schedule: Mon-Fri, typically 8-8.5 hours per day. Start times range from 8:00 AM-9:00 AM with end times as late as 10:00 PM — evening coverage is essential because most client facilities are cleaned after their business hours. Occasional weekend work with advance notice.
